Lou Donaldson, you were literally one of my very first major inspirations and I can comfortably say that you have changed my life! I thank you endlessly for the immensely fine music that you've created and enlightened the world with. I've found my sound through yours and happily transcribed so much of your repertoire. Happy birthday, I hope it was the best one yet.
